What is pilates
Pilates is an exercise method that involves slow and precise movements with an increased emphasis on breathing, positioning and sequencing. Every class is a full body workout done with intention and control, and it improves posture, strength, flexibility, coordination and body awareness.
Whether on the Mat or Reformer, a Pilates class is both gentle and challenging, and it connects body and mind bringing many physical and mental benefits.
Reformer Pilates
Have you seen and tried Reformer Pilates? On a Reformer class we have extra challenges with the springs (adding resistance) and the moving carriage (defying your balance).
